Looking back at the year gone by, we at Elliott & Thompson are proud to see our books really soar in a difficult climate, and our standout success story has to be Tim Marshall‘s The Power of Geography: Ten Maps that Reveal the Future of Our World – the sequel to the smashhit bestseller Prisoners of Geography

Its full list of achievements are too many to number but include; keeping the number 1 spot in the Sunday Times bestseller chart for paperback nonfiction for 10 weeks and counting; being shortlisted for the Books Are My Bag Readers Awards 2021 for Non-Fiction; and being picked as Waterstones October Non-Fiction Book of the Month for October amongst many others.

Another brilliantly incisive and and thought-provoking book cut through with Tim’s trademark wit and insight; we would expect nothing less from Tim but are so delighted that this has been recognized and continues to be celebrated throughout the year and into the new!
