The Wildlife Trusts
Founded in 1912 by Charles Rothschild as the Society for the Promotion of Nature Reserves, today the Wildlife Trusts are the UK’s largest voluntary environmental organisation striving to restore wildlife on land and at sea. There are 47 individual Wildlife Trusts, all working towards preserving an environment rich in wildlife for everyone.
Elliott & Thompson was delighted to work alongside the Wildlife Trusts to produce three beautifully designed books that reflected the values of the Trusts and brought them to a wide readership. Nature Tales comprised outstanding nature writings from authors including Roger Deakin, Bill Oddie and Robert Macfarlane, with a foreword by Sir David Attenborough; 152 Wild Things to Do explored the fun side of Britain’s natural places; and Wildlife in Trust told the full story of this remarkable organisation.
