Tim Marshall gets a rave reception at the LSE!

14 Jul 2015 - 14:07

It was a full house at the LSE’s Hong Kong Theatre last night for Tim Marshall’s talk on The Impact of Geography on International Politics, hosted by Charlie Beckett, with a popular signing session afterwards. As usual, the LSE audience was brilliantly engaged and responded with a number of thought-provoking questions. Look out for the recording on the LSE Podcast, or catch Charlie’s pre-talk interview with Tim here.

Tim's new book Prisoners of Geography: Ten Maps that Tell You Everything You Need to Know About the World is an essential contribution to the debate on global issues such as the tensions in the South China Sea and the Russia’s annexation of Crimea. A leading authority on foreign affairs, Tim maps out the geopolitical challenges of today; looking at the past, present, and future, this book offers an essential insight into one of the major factors that determine world history.

Following recent appearances on BBC1 Sunday Politics BBC2, Daily Politics and BBC2 Scotland, look out for Tim in the media in the coming weeks!
