Elliott & Thompson is delighted to announce the first in a new thriller series by debut author Tony Kent

Tony Kent is one of the UK’s leading criminal barristers and has been involved in numerous high profile cases, many eliciting national media coverage, and is a regular figure at London’s Old Bailey. He grew up in a close-knit Irish family in London and studied Law in Scotland. Before being called to the Bar, Tony spent a year as a professional heavyweight boxer after many years winning national titles at an amateur level. His debut novel combines the many facets of this exceptional author – a unique insight into the criminal world, an intimate knowledge of the intensity and power of hand-to-hand combat, and the story-telling skills of a brilliant raconteur.

Chairman Lorne Forsyth said: “The moment I started reading KILLER INTENT I knew that Tony Kent is an extraordinary new talent. Tony is the real deal: a top-class criminal barrister with a wealth of life experience and all the flair of a natural storyteller. The result is an unputdownable thriller that had me gripped from the start. We can’t wait to put his brilliant writing into the hands of readers around the world.”

Publishing in January 2018, KILLER INTENT is one of the most exciting debuts of the year, and the first of a major new series!
